What's up people. I hope you all have been doing good. I wrote this prayer on the 13th of June, it was a very beautiful morning and I say that because i think that influenced this prayer. I live in an apartment that has a normal size glass sliding door that leads to a balcony with a view of the road, the sky, some trees and every pretty thing the Lord has made to make a beautiful morning. And on this faithful morning, I was finding it so hard to pray or even meditate on the word because of reasons that am unable to share now. But out of all the unwillingness and heaviness my heart started singing this song which ended up becoming my prayer  and I want to share with you today and hope that it blesses and encourage you. Constantly looking to my past and blaming myself for whatever trials my present, present me with. As a Christian my bible tells me since I am in Christ old things has past away behold the new has come. And for some seconds, hours, days or weeks my heart will be joyful and rejoice in those words. Holding them dear to my heart like it’s all I’ve got. But in a split second that rejoicing is quickly overwhelmed with doubts, disappointment, fear and unbelief and I find myself right back at where I started. Sometimes and in this case doing more things that can further distance me from the joy and rejoicing I just slipped from or better put distance myself from the source of the joy, who is Jesus. Before we dive into this topic, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I hope everyone enjoyed his/her break. 2018 was great, I pray 2019 will be greater. It would be eight years this year since I proclaimed Jesus as my savior and chose to go on this journey with him, and I would be sharing some things I have learnt during those years that I wish I knew before I started the journey. 1.
